Softball Recap: Plainview-Elgin-Millville Falls to Cannon Falls in First Game of Season

Plainview-Elgin-Millville kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Cannon Falls Bombers by a score of 3-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

The win got Cannon Falls back to even at 1-1.

While Plainview-Elgin-Millville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
