Edgewood is 10-0 against Brown County since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Edgewood Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brown County Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Edgewood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.

Edgewood saw some tournament action last Saturday. They took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parke Heritage. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Wolves are ranked 28th).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Owen Mcgovern, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Norris, who had seven points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Brown County came up short against Waldron on Friday and fell 59-49. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Brown County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Edgewood against Brown County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 67-37 win. Does Edgewood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Brown County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
