Basketball Recap: Nova Skates Past Mcarthur with Ease

Nova won against South Broward last Wednesday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Nova Titans claimed a resounding 63-16 victory over the McArthur Mustangs. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 31 points or more this season.

Jaelynn Housey was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (five). Another player making a difference was Kimora Exum, who posted nine points and six steals.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.7 points. As for McArthur, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Nova wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-58 defeat against Northeast on the 11th. As for McArthur, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-23 victory against Boyd Anderson on the 11th.
