Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Garner). They put the hurt on the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs with a sharp 17-8 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Titans needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

South Garner's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Southeast Raleigh, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

South Garner and Southeast Raleigh could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. South Garner will square off against Garner at 4:30 p.m. on April 8 down 279 places (360 vs. 81). Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh (ranked 342nd) will meet Corinth Holders (ranked 36th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
