Volleyball Recap: Discovery Canyon Thunder vs. Lewis-Palmer Rangers
Discovery Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunder of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.
Lewis-Palmer can attribute much of their success to Cady Knight, who had six digs and five aces. The dominant performance gave Knight a new career-high in aces.
Discovery Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lewis-Palmer, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

As for Lewis-Palmer, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cheyenne Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
