Basketball Recap: Mid-Peninsula Takes a Loss

Mid-Peninsula played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 73-44 defeat at the hands of the Pacific Bay Christian Eagles. The Dragons were down 54-27 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Pacific Bay Christian found their leader in sophomore Noah Jung, who went 7 of 13 from beyond the arc on his way to 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jung has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Strickland, who posted 12 points.

Mid-Peninsula's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pacific Bay Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

Mid-Peninsula has already played their next game (against Pescadero), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pacific Bay Christian will be playing at home against Mountain View Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Mountain View Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
