Football Recap: Central Dauphin East Comes Up Short

Central Dauphin East had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it four. The matchup between the Panthers and the Cumberland Valley Eagles didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 24-6. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

As for Cumberland Valley, the victory got them back to even at 3-3. 24 seems to be a good number for them as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Among those leading the charge was Rocco Bushman, who rushed for 128 yards.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Dauphin East will square off against rival Central Dauphin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cumberland Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Bishop McDevitt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 11.5, the Crusaders 12.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
