After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southwestern, Rising Sun was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the South Ripley Raiders. Rising Sun better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Weston Cumberworth, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Rising Sun's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-2-1. As for South Ripley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Coincidentally, Rising Sun and South Ripley will both be playing Jac-Cen-Del the next time they take the pitch. The Shiners will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
