Volleyball Recap: Community School of Davidson Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Lake Norman Charter

Community School of Davidson faced Lake Norman Charter in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Spartans came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered since October 16, 2024.

Brielle Kinsey paced Community School of Davidson's offense, picking up seven kills. Kinsey got some help from Lucia Grace Soares and her 15 assists. Kelly Rogers controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Danielle Lewis was nothing short of spectacular for Lake Norman Charter: she had 17 digs and five aces.
