Basketball Recap: Jackson North Side Starts Season with Victory at Home

Jackson North Side took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 75-50 margin over the Gibson County Pioneers. The Indians have beaten the Pioneers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pioneers has come to flipping the script.

Jackson North Side can attribute much of their success to Lincoln Woods, who posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Cole, who had 12 points.

Jackson North Side didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 85-74 win against Jackson Central Merry on the 21st. As for Gibson County, they have also already played their next contest, a 67-43 defeat against Obion County on the 21st.
