Baseball Recap: Grinnell Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Grinnell duked it out with Benton on Monday. The Tigers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Grinnell now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Benton, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Benton beat Grinnell by a score of 8-3 later that day.
