McClatchy is 8-1-1 against Kennedy since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lions will look to defend their home pitch against the Cougars at 3:00 p.m. McClatchy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

McClatchy's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past West Park 5-0. Max Jacobsen was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Kennedy after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Cordova by a score of 2-1.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-6. As for McClatchy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-4.

McClatchy got the 'W' in their previous meeting on January 13th against Kennedy by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
