Volleyball Recap: St. James Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the St. Clair Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-3, 25-3.

Macey Martinez was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 16 digs. Those 16 digs gave her a new career-high.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for St. Clair, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-11-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. St. James will face off against Belle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Clair, they will take on New Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
