Softball Recap: Dunedin Falcons vs. Hollins Royals        
        
		
            
 Dunedin was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They fell just short of the Hollins Royals by a score of  5-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dunedin of the  5-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in February.
  Aliyah Roseman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On Hollins' side,  Gianna Close was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Chloe Monnell was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Dunedin's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Hollins, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.
 Dunedin will be playing in front of their home fans against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Wiregrass Ranch is coming into the  contest with nine straight  victories on the road,  so Dunedin will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. As for Hollins, they will  take on Clearwater Central Catholic at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Hollins is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.1  runs per game  this season.
