Baseball Recap: Vienna Takes a Loss

Vienna blew St. James out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday St. James got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-2. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tigers since on Thursday.

Vienna has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. St. James' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vienna will head out to square off against Stoutland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. James, they will venture away from home to face off against Hermann at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
