Basketball Game Preview: Temple City Rams vs. Montclair Cavaliers + Official Tickets

The Temple City Rams will face off against the Montclair Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Temple City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season.

While Temple City didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over Arroyo on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Temple City found their leader in sophomore Brayden Kwan, who shot 58% from the field on his way to 17 points. Kwan continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Collins, who posted eight points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, Montclair suffered their biggest defeat since January 10th on Friday. They lost 69-44 to California. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Cavaliers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Having lost for the first time this season, Montclair fell to 5-1. As for Temple City, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Temple City didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Montclair in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
