Despite the loss, Covenant Life still got an impressive performance from Elijah Hughes, who almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine rebounds. The game was Hughes' fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Daniel Melendez was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Covenant Life's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Berman Hebrew Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Covenant Life wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-66 loss against Tournament Opponent on the 21st. As for Berman Hebrew Academy, they have also already played their next contest, an 86-48 win against Washington Christian Academy on the 18th.
