Basketball Recap: Hector Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Hector posted their closest victory since February 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mountainburg Dragons, sneaking past 65-63. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Hector has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Mountainburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Hector has already played their next contest (against Hackett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mountainburg will host Acorn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
