Merced and Ponderosa squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Merced had to settle for second. They lost 11-1 to the Bruins. The Bears' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Maisen Priddell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Merced's defeat dropped their record down to 24-5-1. As for Ponderosa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Merced does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ponderosa, they will square off against Vanden at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight.
