Basketball Recap: North Hills Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Faith Academy Charter on Monday, North Hills Christian came back down to earth. The matchup between the Eagles and the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 86-67. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Titans 23-18 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, North Hills Christian still got an impressive performance from Maverick Ball, who went 9-for-20 en route to 31 points and eight rebounds. The game was Ball's eighth in a row with at least 17 points. Luke McLauglin was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Jayden Pringle went supernova For Triad Baptist Christian Academy., shooting 65% from the field on his way to 34 points. Those 34 points gave Pringle a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Manley, who went 8-for-11 to rack up 21 points.

North Hills Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, North Hills Christian will challenge Covenant Classical at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Triad Baptist Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vandalia Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
