Basketball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Platteville Hillmen, falling 69-43. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Hillmen are ranked 69th).

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Platteville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Valley has already played their next game (against Reedsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Platteville has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Mount Horeb.
