Softball Recap: Plainfield Panthers vs. Wheeler Lions
Plainfield couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Wheeler Lions by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Plainfield was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wheeler apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
