KIPP Esperanza has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 6-2 to The Nueva School on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in January.

Kaylan Gonzalez and Joseph Garcia scored both of KIPP Esperanza's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

KIPP Esperanza's record now sits at 0-11. As for The Nueva School, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Looking ahead, KIPP Esperanza will face off against El Primero at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. El Primero will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something KIPP Esperanza surely won't give up without a fight. The Nueva School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
