Football Recap: Georgia Christian Falls Short of Sherwood Christian Academy in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Georgia Christian and Sherwood Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Georgia Christian had to settle for second. They lost 30-7 to the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Carson Hanks threw for 50 yards while completing 83.3% of his passes. Cason Evans was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards. On the ground, James Frazier rushed for 29 yards and one touchdown.

Tripp Roberts produced another solid performance rushing for 136 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 257 yards and two TDs for Sherwood Christian Academy. A healthy portion of Roberts' aerial production (115 yards to be exact) went to Chuck Lagrange.

Georgia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, their record now sits at 11-0.
