Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Township Rangers vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs

Hamilton Township is 0-10 against Bloom-Carroll since February of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Hamilton Township Rangers will look to defend their home court against the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Bloom-Carroll took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hamilton Township, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Hamilton Township earned a 46-35 win over Licking Heights. Given the Rangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Hornets are ranked 530th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bloom-Carroll fought the good fight in their overtime game against Pickerington North on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 41-38. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bloom-Carroll now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Hamilton Township, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Hamilton Township was dealt a bruising 59-17 loss at the hands of Bloom-Carroll when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Hamilton Township, Emily Bratton (who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
