Baseball Recap: Northern Cambria Falls Short of Juniata Valley in the Playoffs

Northern Cambria and Juniata Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Northern Cambria had to settle for second. They lost 10-2 to the Hornets. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Colts, who until this contest were averaging 4.09 runs allowed.

Northern Cambria moved to 19-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Juniata Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
