Volleyball Preview: Eastchester Eagles vs. Harrison Huskies
After both having extra time off, the Eastchester Eagles and the Harrison Huskies will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On September 10th, everything went Eastchester's way against Peekskill as Eastchester made off with a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-19.
Meanwhile, Harrison waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Koalas.
Harrison was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 23-25, 25-12.
The victory got Eastchester back to even at 1-1. As for Harrison, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
Eastchester took their win against Harrison when the teams last played back in October of 2019 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastchester since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
