Cactus is 8-2 against Deer Valley since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cobras will look to defend their home court against the Skyhawks at 6:00 p.m. Deer Valley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cactus, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Cactus got the win against Peoria by a conclusive 3-0. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Deer Valley came up short against Estrella Foothills on Monday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost eight in a row.

Deer Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Estrella Foothills work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 16-25, 28-26, 25-12.

Cactus' win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Deer Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-20.

Cactus took their victory against Deer Valley when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cobras have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Skyhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
