Whitehall/Willow Creek lost against the Jefferson Panthers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Whitehall/Willow Creek was beaten by the Panthers 75-27. Whitehall/Willow Creek was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-14.

MacKenzie Layng was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals for Jefferson. Another player making a difference was Cameron Toney, who scored 12 points along with two steals.

Whitehall/Willow Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Jefferson, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Whitehall/Willow Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jefferson will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Hornets at 5:30 p.m. White Sulphur Springs will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
