Basketball Recap: Justin-Siena Takes a Loss

Justin-Siena was the 51-50 winner over Sonoma Valley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the Justin-Siena Braves and the Sonoma Valley Dragons didn't end well, with the Justin-Siena Braves falling 79-63. The Braves were down 55-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

It was another big night for Hudson Giarritta, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards for Sonoma Valley. Giarritta is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played. Vinny Girish was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Justin-Siena's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Sonoma Valley, their record is now 12-13.

Justin-Siena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-47 defeat against American Canyon on the 8th. As for Sonoma Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 73-42 win against Napa on the 8th.
