Fauquier is 7-2 against Manassas Park since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Fauquier Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Manassas Park Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Manassas Park took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fauquier, who comes in off a win.

Fauquier took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-35 win over Warren County.

Meanwhile, Manassas Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a blow against Meridian, falling 69-14. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Mustangs are ranked 65th).

Manassas Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Fauquier, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Everything came up roses for Fauquier against Manassas Park in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 52-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fauquier since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
