While Waukee put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Pleasant Valley. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Spartans. The Warriors were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Spartans, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

Waukee's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Pleasant Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Waukee will square off against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pleasant Valley, they will challenge Davenport West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
