Soccer Game Preview: Bayshore Christian vs. Baldwin County

The Bayshore Christian Eagles will square off against the Baldwin County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bayshore Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Bayshore Christian fell victim to Mobile Christian and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Leopards, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Baldwin County was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Spanish Fort. While losing is never fun, Baldwin County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 181st, while Spanish Fort are ranked 17th).

Baldwin County dropped their record down to 3-13-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Bayshore Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Bayshore Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Baldwin County in their previous meeting back in February. Can Bayshore Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
