Baseball Recap: Ponderosa Mustangs vs. Loveland Red Wolves

Ponderosa proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Loveland Red Wolves, sneaking past 8-6. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Wolves, too.

Nick Moe looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Isai Santaella was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Ponderosa's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
