Football Recap: Cameron Piles Up the Points Against River

Cameron strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the River Pilots to the tune of 46-15. With the Dragons ahead 30-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Leading Cameron to victory were Kason Angel and Marshall Holland. Angel rushed for 96 yards and one TD, while Holland gained 171 total yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Angel a new career-high in passing yards (183). A healthy portion of that aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Soier Reed, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Cameron's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for River, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cameron will welcome Tyler at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for River, they will challenge Federal Hocking at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Pilots will be up against the Lancers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
