Basketball Recap: Shannon Takes a Loss

Shannon's tournament run continued when they took on Red Bay on Saturday. The Shannon Red Raiders took a hard 48-32 fall against the Red Bay Tigers. The contest marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Khalil Luster continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Red Bay, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Shannon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Red Bay, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Shannon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-56 loss against Itawamba Agricultural on the 10th. As for Red Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-30 win against Belmont on the 10th.
