Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame lost against East Stroudsburg North back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 8-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Notre Dame saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcos Bordas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Matthew Rivera also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Stroudsburg North, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.

Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-0 loss against Wilson Area on the 16th. As for East Stroudsburg North, they have also already played their next game, a 21-1 defeat against Pocono Mountain East on the 15th.
