Basketball Recap: McEwen Find Success

The third road matchup was the charm for McEwen, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They secured a 50-46 W over the Riverside Panthers on Saturday.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack Cupples, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Colt Brooks, who went 5-for-10 en route to 15 points.

McEwen's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Riverside, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, McEwen is taking a road trip to face off against Dickson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hardin County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
