Basketball Recap: School of the Ozarks Comes Up Short

School of the Ozarks suffered their biggest loss since January 14th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Chadwick Cardinals, falling 48-28. The Patriots have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why School of the Ozarks lost, don't look at Scott Carswell. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points and five steals. Carswell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Canaan Thomas, who posted five points.

School of the Ozarks' defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Chadwick, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, School of the Ozarks will challenge Niangua at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chadwick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bradleyville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
