Plainfield East kept up with Minooka until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Indians' defense stepped up to hand the Bengals a 3-0 shutout. Considering Minooka have won five games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Minooka's win bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Plainfield East, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2.

Coming up, Minooka will be taking part in a tournament against York at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Minooka are facing York at the right time seeing as York are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Plainfield East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainfield North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plainfield North will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Plainfield East surely won't give up without a fight.
