Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilsonville). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Centennial Eagles a 20-0 shutout on Friday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Wilsonville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Centennial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Wilsonville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Parkrose on the 29th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-10 defeat against Hillsboro on the 29th.
