Softball Preview: Hannibal Pirates vs. Father Tolton        
        
		
             The Hannibal Pirates will venture away from home to  take on Father Tolton  at 11:00  a.m.  on Thursday. Hannibal is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a 26-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Having struggled with 24  defeats in a row, Hannibal finally turned things around against Palmyra  on Monday. They walked away with  an   8-3  win over the Panthers.
  Addison Friday spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts.

 Hannibal's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-29. As for Father Tolton, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.
