Milpitas entered their tilt with Mountain View on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Mountain View Spartans by a score of 60-48. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Spartans are ranked 334th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Jayden Minor, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Maller, who posted 11 points.

Milpitas is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Mountain View, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
