Preview: Chandler Lions vs. Meeker Bulldogs
Chandler is 9-1 against Meeker since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Chandler Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Meeker Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Chandler came up short against Holdenville and fell 54-43. Chandler has struggled against Holdenville recently, as their game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Meeker's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Holdenville 75-32. Meeker was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-12.
Chandler has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Meeker, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
Everything came up roses for Chandler against Meeker when the teams last played on January 2nd as the squad secured a 52-18 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chandler since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
