Recap: Wharton Wildcats vs. Armwood Hawks

Wharton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell just short of the Armwood Hawks by a score of 5-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wharton of the 8-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Wharton got a good showing from Aaron Wonderley, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
