Basketball Game Preview: Cheyenne Desert Shields vs. Canyon Springs Pioneers

Cheyenne is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Somerset Academy Losee on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Cheyenne was outmatched by Somerset Academy Losee and fell 64-3. The Desert Shields were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-3.

Meanwhile, Canyon Springs lost 70-44 to Coronado on Tuesday. The Pioneers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Cheyenne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Canyon Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
