Volleyball Recap: Carrboro Takes a Loss

Carrboro lost against Seaforth back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jaguars came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-6.

Seaforth found their leader in sophomore Lucas Ferri, who had eight aces and one block.

Carrboro has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Seaforth, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carrboro is set to square off against their familiar foe Falls Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seaforth will take on rival Jordan-Matthews at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
