Basketball Game Preview: Indian Valley Braves vs. East Canton Hornets

The Indian Valley Braves are taking a road trip to square off against the East Canton Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Indian Valley will head into Tuesday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Claymont on Tuesday. Indian Valley took their game with ease, bagging a 66-25 victory over Claymont. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 32 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, East Canton hadn't done well against Strasburg-Franklin recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. East Canton walked away with a 40-33 win over Strasburg-Franklin.

East Canton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Indian Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Everything went Indian Valley's way against East Canton in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, as Indian Valley made off with a 65-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Indian Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
