Football Recap: Mt. Rainier Rams vs. Central Kitsap Cougars
The Mt. Rainier Rams ended up a good deal behind the Central Kitsap Cougars on Friday and lost 28-10. Despite 85 more yards than the Cougars, the Rams couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Nolan Enghusen threw for 125 yards on 14 of 22 attempts. Nicholas Harmon was his top target, picking up 94 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Anthony White rushed for 50 yards.
Leading Central Kitsap to victory were Kevin Morales and Leo Bosh. Morales rushed for 36 yards and three touchdowns, while Bosh picked up 45 receiving yards and one score. That receiving touchdown marked the first that Bosh has hauled in this season.
Mt. Rainier has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Central Kitsap, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
