The Lake-Lehman Knights will square off against the Wyoming Area Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake-Lehman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Lake-Lehman is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since May 9, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of MMI Preparatory School by a score of 7-5. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sam Finarelli made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Sholtis, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Wyoming Area waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Blue Knights by a score of 5-2.

Jake Snyder made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Snyder wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Alex Vacula, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ben Rogish was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Wyoming Area hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.

The victory got Wyoming Area back to even at 3-3. As for Lake-Lehman, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
